If you are being prosecuted for e.g. drink/drug driving, failing to provide name of the driver (Section 172), driving without insurance (or permitting someone to drive without insurance), driving without due care, dangerous driving, being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, speeding, driving through a red light (or other a similar offence) do contact me - I may well be able to save your licence or, if not, ensure you get the lightest sentence possible

Since 1993

Quote from Malcolm Cree, Chief Executive of Bar Council

‘Traditionally, a member of the public would go to a Solicitor with their legal problem and the Solicitor would turn to a Barrister when needed for their expertise and advocacy skills. That remains the way most barristers work today but several thousand barristers are now trained to take work directly from the client. The DAP statistics indicate this approach is gaining traction with the public and members of the profession. Potentially, by going directly to a barrister a client could save money because they don’t have to pay a Solicitor as well’

I charge a fixed fee - there will be no surprises or hidden extras

My fees are low because I do not have the overheads of a typical solicitors’ office, such as huge insurance premiums, secretarial costs, rent for large offices, Law Society compliance costs and so on. Therefore, you will not be billed for a percentage of those costs. By instructing me directly you are ‘cutting out the middle man’.

What my clients say about me

  • 5 star review  What a refreshing, personable, knowledgeable and professional woman you are Ann. Thankfully my case never had to go to court as Ann guided and orchestrated the process I needed to follow in order for it not to get that far. Her knowledge and duty of care is beyond belief, and I can honestly say the world would be a better place with people like you in it. Thank you for all your help Ann, and if you want to keep your license, give this woman a call!

  • 5 star review  I couldn't recommend Ann to anyone more. I truly feel as though having Ann take on my university appeal case was a blessing, and couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Not only was she empathetic and understanding towards my situation, but her work was second to none, with so much in depth knowledge, organisation and commitment to my case. A million thanks simply wouldn't be enough, and I wish her the absolute best.

  • 5 star review  Ann Crighton is Amazing! My partner was summoned to court with driving without due care and attention. We spoke to Ann and straight away she agreed to help us with our plea of not guilt. She organised for us to meet her in person, helped us with understanding paperwork and how the whole process worked as we didn't have a clue. We went to court yesterday and she absolutely smashed it! My partner was found not guilty. The cost was also the best we could find. No hidden fees! Thanks so much Ann for all your help and brilliant result. Kelly and Ashley
