If you already have 9 points on your licence, then you will be looking at 6 months ban from driving. However, you may have a defence e.g. inadequate signage, or I may be able to persuade the Court not to impose points for the offence and instead give you a short ban e.g. 14 days, for the offence itself. Of course, technical defences will be explored e.g. was the NiP (Notice of Intended Prosecution) served on time, etc. If you must plead guilty and the Court refuse to impose a ban for the offence itself then we may be able to put forward an Exceptional Hardship argument and avoid a ban altogether. So if you are looking at a ban, there are a lot of options we can explore.
